What's with the poor rating ... this novel is excellent!! It's well written with just enough mystery to keep you interested with each chapter.

The plot of the story would have been good. However, the development of the characters is lacking.

Asher 10/2 is an unfit king, he has no influence and power. He is either waiting to be saved or is busy with himself. He is largely irrelevant to the story.

Cora 10/5 does not provide any real performance as a healer despite being praised, sometimes portrayed as a lost child, sometimes as a heroine. It is difficult to connect with her because she herself does not know who she wants to be.

Becky and Kane 10/10 are strong, determined and think logically. Without them, the story would be dead.

Silas 10/7 had potential, but was not given a chance.

Overall, it is a shame.

This could be an excellent story if the author would take suggestions from the previous reviewers. I wish I had read the reviews before I invested in reading because the ending is rushed and failed to provide a satisfying sense of closure and resolution.

Have to agree that the plot is all over the place...not so much on being characters' wolf...more on healers and sorcerers. The end kind of hurriedly done.

This is not a story about wherewolves. It feels like the author wrote a stories about human and sorceres/magicians , then though adding werewofes would brimg more readers.

Read all the chapters, lot of plot holes. Characters that are supposed to be smart , end up doing dumb things. Werewolfes can not recognise people sent, they can not hear conversion , they can not mind link, barely transform etc...

This could be a great series if expanded on. The entire novel is like a constant state of fight or flight with no reprieve. I had to stop reading after chapter 178 and skipped to 309 because it was exhausting trying to keep up with all the convoluted plot points.

Not enough warewolf lore but the story telling is good and engaging with detail story building

Hoping to see more stories from you!!

Do not read this book is awful and waste of time. It is way to long with a horrible plot that is all over the place and doesn't make sense. Nothing is really solved in the conclusion and the ending is not worth reading 314 chapters. I know it's fictional but the author doesn't even follow werewolf lore.

The story was very long but everything was rushed at the end. Werewolves and Guards started using guns… Other than that the story left me wanting more. Ending unresolved with multiple characters stories not completing.
