He, once again, was worried more about saving face for Penelope than his own wife, who he didn't even speak to or acknowledge. I understand that he thinks she's obedient or whatever, but he can't possibly think she's stupid enough to not see what's going on.
I'm also kind of disappointed that Marcus didn't say anything to imply that Caleb was Sydney's husband to embarrass Penelope for being so shameless his junior and long time friend.
And lastly, Marcus seems suspicious a bit, like he's jealous of Sydney at times. They way it was written, I felt like he had done something to Sydney's soup.
They both now have cars. He knows that. So why is he even picking anyone up? Why would Penelope embarrass herself at Sydney's place of work? What if they know who her husband is?
Why would she care if he noticed that she moved out? That was her big plan, wasn't it? What good does it do her if Caleb thinks she's still there? Ridiculous.
How can someone that was just a few chapters ago talking about her savings getting low, afford to be a limited edition fountain pen and then a Porsche within the same week? Did the author think things through?
Well, Penelope is technically Mrs. Lucas Hampton so... Besides, Sydney has never been called Mrs. Hampton, even by the house staff. They have always called her Mrs. Wilson.
Also, it seems Nancy never told Caleb that she was no longer his wife. This is getting to be too ridiculous. This man can't seriously be this daft, walking around flaunting his mistress and sister-in-law to the world as his woman, but not wanting any backlash.
Oh, they must seriously think she's stupid. They could have someone leak it and blame her.
I hate gossiping women...
There doesn't seem to really be any good men in Sydney's orbit.

Ok, nothing more needs to be said about Caleb. He is firmly placed under the poop underneath my shoe.

OAN, I'm so sick of Caleb.

We can only guess who this husband is that bought the Porsche and for what wife...
