Review: Revenge Of The Rogue Heiress
(5)

This story was very good and hilarious! And I highly recommend it! It touches on some serious topics but makes them not be too heavy while still getting justice for them coupled with some comedy. Evangeline's gloom at being seen crawling on the floor is hilarious.

It has three major arcs, the first being the Gallagher Family revenge is the best one. It centers around Evangeline, a twenty year old who had just found her real family a year prior after having lived outside in the streets as an orphan and abandoned child due to a switch a birth. Over the course of the year with her return to her father, she's not treated well and... I won't spoil. Read it, it's good. This arc "ends" around chapters 70-75ish.

The second arc is the Xtreme Survival Contest Revenge, which is were it started to not b as fulfilling of a read because the people she was taking revenge upon didn't even know why she was doing it. This arc dragged on a bit and I found myself skim reading to get the gist of the chapters because nothing was actually happening and not revenge was being had. The netizen comments took over this arc more than content.

The third and final arc was her Return to Normal and the final closure with the Gallagher family, which focused on completing the revenge and her love life and love interests. This wasn't that strong of a finish after the book started so hard and gloriously.

Despite me loving Evangeline's reaction to being caught crawling, I later realized that it was written as if no one had saw her do it before but then suddenly she was doing it all the time with no regard for it or being ungraceful in her actions and movements. Also, when you get towards the end, there are quite a few chapters, ae large parts of chapters in another language. There was one page I couldn't read at all. I reported it, but I don't know if there will actually be a response or a fix.

Review: I Died They Regretted It by Karen

This story makes no sense. Thought it would be a cute quick read but no. Characters popping out of the wood work without ANY prior mention of them being related to the characters in anyway after just receiving the background story for the established characters. Suddenly, the same events transpired, but somehow the person that wasn't mentioned before is in the story and plays a HUGE role.

It's a hot mess. In the first chapter, the main female character is getting abused with a golf club and all she can think about and call out about is playing the violin. Not to spare her life or to scream in pain, but to say she wants to go to a violin competition... Don't waste your time.

I started chapter 2 and had to stop.🛑

Review: The Heartbreak Prescription

Chapter 47 reveals that Stanley is essentially a pedophile.

He is feverish and has a dream of his past when having met a young female child in a forest while escaping some bad guys and she saved him by dragging him to a cave to hide. It was cold in the cave so the little girl hugged him and said it was to keep warm and not die. Then he reminisces about the little girl's thin body and her warmth as they cuddled together that night only to find her mission the next morning when he is rescued.

If he was old enough to be on a dangerous mission and he described her a being a young CHILD, doesn't that say he was later lusting after that when he was thinking about her body and warmth, so much so that he couldn't forget her and wanted to find her after the mission? Gross.

Tried to give it another shot. Come to find out, she was almost sexually assaulted as a child by the man her mother left her with in the countryside after his wife killed herself due to his abuse. This is also why she wanted Big Brother Stanley to take her away in the forest cave, away from him. The man, George, found her in the cane waiting for Stanley to come back and tried to SA her then and there. She fought him, won and put his eye out. He was charged for SA, child molestation and attempted r*pe and got 10 years. Her "mother" knew all about it and brought the man back into Wendy's life once he was released, telling him to "take" her now for his revenge. He tried but got caught and said to Stanley that Wendy, even as a young child, seduced him and did it again now. Later, in chapter 96, Wendy is seducing Stanley and he has the AUDACITY to think, "George was right, Wendy is goo as seducing men, even as a child she did it." This book was written by a pedophile.

Review: The Alpha's Daughter

Pass. This book already makes no sense at chapter 3, Roxanna's POV when she acts like she had no clue Braysden was doing something shady to Aiden. He bullied Aiden in front of her and Aiden said nothing in chapter 2. That would obviously be the first clue. Also, Brayden was constantly calling her "babe" and she didn't correct him, as if she's agreeing that they are a couple in front of Aiden, then tells him she likes Aiden? It's like she's trying to get Aiden beat more. She's the Alpha's daughter. She's not new to the pack, a stranger or disliked. She should know exactly what's going on. Someone had to have seen or heard of Aiden getting beaten daily and gossip about it.

Review: My Husband’s Secret Wife and Their Stolen Son

This one was one of the best ones, especially at just over 100 chapters. Granted, she was tormented by her husband and his mistress well into the 80s chapter, if I'm not mistaken. But somewhere in there she DID get the divorce finalized.

So yes, even though the majority of the book was about a 30 day divorce that got prolonged and stretched out. It did happen and she got closure with reaching 200-500 chapters (which is ridiculous). She gets her HEA and he gets his comeuppance... but the mistress gets away scott free... But his downfall was satisfying.

Very well written! Great characters. Cute concept. I enjoyed this short story.

The conflict was realistic and it had some humorous moments to liven up the story.

Its an HEA story that jumps 10 years at the last chapter for its conclusion. I only wish it continued with the fate of all four couples vice just the main once since it had us invested in them as the story went along, but it's not a deal breaker.

Review: After Love Faded She Left Forever

Pretty good short. Good read. Anna and Jonathan had the perfect marriage, until they didn't. Isabelle seems to be a common name for mistresses in these novels.

Jonathan's ultimate betrayal and how it all began was wild. I have read countless stories where others are blamed, but this one takes the cake.

Some of the latter chapters are garbled but you can still work through what is going on.

Review: After My Son Died My Husband Went Crazy by Davidmia

Story is complete as is. But is also a garbage ending. Not really any remorse for either of the villains, the husband even mentions the mistress in a positive way in his death note, knowing she killed his only child. The woman was fully aware of his marriage and child the entire time and chose to be the mistress and homewrecker, but the way this ends, it's no big deal and he's not really sorry that he wanted both of them.
