I loved the first two books inthe series. Unfortunately this one didn't fare as well as those. Till the 50% mark, it was going well. Then pacing issues start. There are multiple things happening. The plot lines didn't land for me. Can't believe I am saying this..but Evie's andTrystan's scenes needed more trimming. The banter got repetitive. Though there would some peaks in between, it would quickly dip down. Maybe it was the reader fatigue setting in..as I have been with the series for some days now. But by the end of the book, I am left more confused as to what the actual plot was other than defeat the evil king.
