Aynsefian

Axin Fernea and his ship Nikse are drifiting in an unfamiliar galaxy, having had their quantum drive interfered with by a pulse of mysterious origin. Axin's original intent to explore a new galaxy appears to have landed him and his crew in grave danger, leading to a harrowing banishment, where his very survival is under severe threat.

Meanwhile, on the patrol ship IR84U, Captain Zarasena Fen's behaviour is becoming increasingly erratic, causing concern for those on board with her. A catastrophe appears almost inevitable, or does it?
