Bride of Mr. Billion – Sneak Peek
Bella’s POV:
Last night, I slept with a stranger.
I’m not the type of woman to do this. I did it because I was so sad yesterday.
My boyfriend, who had been in love with me for three years, told me that I wasn’t gentle, considerate, or sexy enough. Then, he turned around and left for England with a wealthy girl.
Although I appear strong in front of my friends, I was truly heartbroken.
To distract myself, I went to a bar alone and drank too much.
That’s when I met the man. I don’t even remember what he looked like.
Now, I hear the sound of running water. It’s him taking a shower in the bathroom.
I slowly opened my eyes.
The room around me was luxurious, with the morning sunlight streaming in, illuminating the mess of sheets, underwear, clothes, and shoes scattered on the carpet.
I looked down at the kiss marks on my bare body under the quilt, a dull ache in my lower body.
Everything reminded me of the intensity of last night with that stranger.

Wait, no. This wasn’t the time to think about that.
I’ve never had an experience like this before—sleeping with a stranger. And now, I don’t know how to face it all.
Maybe I should leave now, before he finds me.
I got out of bed, quickly dressed, grabbed my bag, and headed for the door.
But just then, the bathroom door opened.
A ridiculously handsome man stepped out.
He had thick, golden hair and a striking face. His loose bathrobe barely covered his strong, muscular chest.
My heart raced uncontrollably.
This man was far more attractive than my ex-boyfriend.
The image of our night together resurfaced in my mind again. He had held me, touched me, kissed me… My cheeks flushed with heat.
I quickly shook my head, forcing myself to stop thinking about those scenes. To calm myself down, I tried fanning my face with my hands, but it didn’t help.
Compared to my restlessness, the man was remarkably calm.
When I glanced at him, I could feel his eyes scanning me from head to toe, as though he was appraising an object.
I noticed the corner of his mouth twitch, forming a disdainful expression. Why was he looking at me like that?
At that moment, he suddenly walked over to the bedside and reached for his wallet.
Inside, I saw a thick stack of cash. The sight immediately snapped me to attention.
What did that mean? Was he paying me for the night?
Was he treating me like a prostitute?
The insult was unbearable.
I decided to fight back.
