Coldhearted King: A Billionaire Workplace Romance (Empty Kingdom Book 1)

A well written story! Though this book pales slightly in comparison to Book 2 (Tate's story)..It takes quite a while to build up. But saying that, the second half of the book doesn't disappoint. Oh and I loved Cole's confession (and the build up to that) more than Tate's..so maybe it balances the score out 😏

Delilah, disillusioned with love, meets Cole who does not believe in love. Sexual transaction is all they agree to-- until she ends up loving him and getting hurt again, and he realizes too late he's fallen deeply in love with her. Love is simple yet complicated. Given a chance it always wins in the end.

What a beautiful woven story. All it took to humble the heartless, ruthless control freak of a billionaire was a sweet and ambitious young girl who had a heart of gold.
