Excerpt:
Screams of pain echo in the still night air as I walk down Main St. My body is numb and I feel absolutely nothing. I keep walking on numb legs staring into the dark of the night. Everything falls silent, the only thing to be heard is my feet crunching on the gravel of the road. I stop and my breath hitches as I see a Reaper standing a 100 yards from me. What could this Reaper want? This should be the question that I should be asking, but I know he has come for the evil souls to be brought to Hades himself to deal with. I start walking again and the Reaper just watches me as I get closer.
“What have you done Little One,” The Reaper asks as I stop in front of him.
“I have rid this world of the evil that has started to consume my people.” I say.
“You know that is not your job. That is the Gods and Goddesses job to do,” The Reaper replies.
Instead of answering him I grab his head with both hands and show him what the Gods and Goddesses demanded of me to do. Once the last of the message was passed on I let go of him.
