Figment of Dreams

Living in a world where another species had fallen from the sky had sent the world as we know it into chaos. Lux Elmrose grew up in this new reality. Her best friend Jax lived next door and was what they called a Rainer. One of the few who had fallen from the sky, and he lived in her small midwestern town. When, all of a sudden, Jax cut off all contact, Lux's life changed overnight. Little did she know she would soon find out why and that she might be a bigger player in the grand scheme of things than she ever could have imagined.
