In a world where vampires, werewolves, and the like, exist, but are extremely rare, Olivia and her two oldest children, Tammy and Tyler, are were-leopards.

Tammy is a college junior, a widow, and pregnant. Her erstwhile mother-in-law, Jennifer, an unscrupulous billionaire, is the wife of a U.S. senator. Jennifer is determined to get custody of her grandchild and is willing to use any means in her power to make it happen, including having Tammy sent to prison. Tammy must tap her own unique sources of power to escape from prison and regain custody of her child.
