Peyton was attacked while she let her dog out before bed. Peyton shot the beast after it it devoured her dog and tried to eat her. The beast nearly ripped her arm off. She began to get nightmares about the beast. Her nightmares became reality when she turned into a beast like the one who attacked her.

The worst part of it all was her father witnessed this terrible transformation and sent her on an indescribable journey.
