Playing Dirty is the fourth book in the Leighton U series, and while this is a series of standalones—where each book is a different couple—there are crossing timelines between some of the stories. So while it is not a necessity, it’s highly recommended to read the series in publishing order. For example, Playing Dirty follows a very similar timeline to Fair Catch (Leighton University, Book Three). Some overlapping scenes are to be expected because of this, but from another character’s point of view and with more context to drive this specific story.
