SPECIAL NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR
As some of you noticed, one of the main characters is named after me. I’ve been told this is cringy, weird, and not needed.
However, I’m going to disagree.
This character means something very special to me.
Growing up, I didn’t have the best life. My family struggled with a lot of things, like money, mental health, and other personal things.
I was left alone a lot. I had to grow up way too fast while also struggling with my own mental health.
Ally Cat was created as my alter ego to be my escape from life. I created my own little world in my head. A place where I could become someone else.
A model. Singing. Actor. Anything I wanted to be.
When I closed my eyes, I became her, and all my worries would disappear, even if it was for just a while.
She gave me an escape that in some kind of way, saved me.
So, thank you, Ally Cat. This one’s for you.
