READ FULL REVIEW! You get what you pay for. This looks like it was bootlegged (no author income) from the expensive pay-per-novel app (G.N.) so it's incomplete, but the rewrite is on her website. The author has previously stated the G.N. version was originally intended to be a series, and she has since rewritten it as "The Bonds that Bind Us".
The author has her current, edited books available for subscription through her own website. If you like this, or another FindNovel author, find a way to do a donation or payment so they can continue to do writing as a job, pay for online spaces to make their writing available to us, and pay for editors to help improve the raw writing (which makes a huge difference for any writer).
I'm rating this highly because the author deserves to be read through proper means where her work can be truly (and fully) enjoyed. Start on this site to find new authors, but know you may not get to finish their books here.
If you liked this, Kit Bryan is even better with a cohesive storyline and editing.
Important note at bottom! Story will not be finished!
I really enjoyed reading this book, i often couldnt put it down. I loved having different character perspectives. The book is unfinished though. It doesnt end on a high intensity clif hanger, its like the author just forgot to write the next chapter. Bases on the comments, its been like that for 8 months (aprox April 2025). But decent read otherwise. Kept me busy for a couple of days.
NOTE: check out Author Taylor Wests facebook page. She has no intention to finish the book on this site. She re-wrote the book called The Bond that Binds Us, and is a series sold elsewhere with spin offs. Im personally not interested but thoughg someone might like to have closure.
Book seemed to have no direction. I stopped at chapter 100 though. (Update: Google says she rewrote the book due to complaints of "many readers finding the ending difficult to reach or felt the story was "never-ending" due to its hundreds of chapters. The author has since released a revised version under the title "The Bonds That Bind Us" by Taylor West.")
It was pretty clear to me that the "monster's" were lycan when first described. What was weird to me thought was that no one, at this point, had ever really heard of them. They are a related species, but here they were mythical creatures?
It was also unrealistic that Neah lived in the pack her entire life and never saw any shifting, but knew she was/had a wolf. It's over 400 chapters and basically it took 100 just for Alpha Dane/Damian to meet Neah, make a contract with her "brother" and move her to his pack. Oh, and to reveal that Neal's were a pack of Lycan and not werewolves.
The contract was never explained from the get go. What did Alpha Alex need Dane's pack for in the first place? Where is the story going at over 400 chapters? It took 100 just to get here, to NOTHING!I cannot recommend this book.
This novel really keeps you on your toes. You think you know what is going on then BAM, something else happens. I personally really enjoyed it but the ending is not on here.
I love this book. I hope it won't be too much longer for more of the story, but it really draws you in and makes you foam out the mouth for more lol! She's an excellent author. ❤️
Great story! This is only the second story of this ature that I have read, but it makes me want to continue reading this genre
When is the next update?
Love this book, please continue updating!! Looking forward to see where it goes, yet to be a dull moment full of suspense and very well written.
I think this is the best story I have read on this site. The author is amazingly talented. Her characters are well thought out, the back stories and their hopes for the future are ever changing. Started reading 3 days ago and haven’t stopped. Great job!
