I really enjoyed this book. Firstly, the length was an appropriate amount of chapters, not ranging into the hundreds or more. Secondly, it had a normal amount of arcs and an actual conclusion to the main plot while giving actions that could lead to another book.

There were some little details that were inconsistent but able to be overlooked as they didn't create major issues with the plot... well except one. Neither Rosalyn, Jermaine nor Alessandro seemed to remember the human girl Lilith at all and never asked about her or her well being. Rosalyn and Jermaine should have remembered as she helped heal them in between their tortures. Rosalyn should have definitely because if she hadn't have healed Jermaine after Nora's slash, he'd be dead. As for Alessandro (and Xavier), they recognized her as their mate and should definitely have her on the brain, at least at some point after Kevin was dealt with and especially while talking weddings and such.

That was major, though it was also towards the end as it seems the author was setting up for book two and overlooked that point.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story and look forward to reading more from this author.

I loved reading this book, rejected and not recognised the son surpassed the father, arrogant alpha could not handle it. Rosayln found her second chance, though revenge was never the course if the arrogant alpha had let bygone be nothing would have escalated to what it was. Loved it

This is a very engaging read! I like all the different points of view and characters, although it was sometimes repetitive. I do hope that this author will consider a second book about the girl who was Alessandro’s mate. It would be really nice to know what happened to her and maybe her back story and possibly Alessandro finding/saving her from the councils grip.

This is one of the few stories with a ruthless touch but very understandable, in addition to the twists of fate that it has traps the reader since it is written from the perspective of several characters in the plot, although the end in this stretch of story seems to have continuity.

Rosalyn's character is the kind of woman you understand grew up within the effort, pain, and love for her son

And her wonderful son is a sign of filial love for a mother who gave everything for you, the thoughts of you.
