Ultimately, the story makes no sense as the author attempts to drag it out for serialization. It was doomed from the start with the basic storyline:

A billionaire CEO was drugged at his birthday party seven years prior to the opening scene. He ended up having s*x with a young woman, who ended up pregnant and seemingly traps the man into marriage. We slowly find out that the woman was not at fault and that she was set up to hand over the drugged drink then later sent to his room with medicine,( since he wasn't feeling well send didn't know he was drugged), at which point he commenced to sexually assault and r*pe her. She ends up frantically calling the police, bringing forth evidence of the r*pe etc. The Patriarch of the billionaire's family comes to her with a proposal, after discovering her pregnancy, and asked her to just marry his grandson and he would help her deceased mother's company survive and give her 2 billion, I think. She agrees...
