The probe comes crashing back down to the earth with considerable speed behind it and before it hits, an explosion of planet-ending proportions follows, incinerating any and everything in sight. Dr. Ignatius Blay has done the unthinkable; he destroyed the planet!
Unfortunately for him, he isn't granted the sweet relief of death because he somehow survives the horrific explosion and wakes up in a futuristic utopia known by the last surviving humans as The Underworld.
