Tom, a disgraced scientist forced to resign from the UK space agency, is unexpectedly invited back to help investigate an unusual anomaly that has appeared just past the moon, When the investigation is taken over and suddenly labelled top secret, Tom and his team decide to go undercover and utilise the expertise of a rogue NASA scientist and a tech billionaire with the help of his father, which leads him and fellow science student Rachel into space to investigate.
