The author has a pattern, power couple, good family-friends ppl and a problem to solve. This is a PREQUEL! I loved this one, a lot of different elements from the author's usual ones. The problem was more elaborated as well. More violence too, be aware. I recommend.

This story was very fast written and sometimes really made no sense. It is the first book in the series and the way it was written I am NOT enticed to read the second book.

Loved the story, sucked me right in and I couldn't wait to read the second book. Lots of action and a details but a short read to keep your attention.
