Why are the chapters so short? Took almost 7 chapters to share the progress between Chloe's and Morse's relationship and no follow up was given as to why they were even in a gunfight to begin with. Hope it's okay with the author...I'll just come back at the end of the month and see a lot of chapters to enjoy. Thank you for the update!
That's so frustrating. There's a story on Amazon with the same title, but the character names are different, as are the employment types of the main characters, but it sounds like it's essentially the same story. I'm thinking about just reading it instead. At least it's completed and I know I'll get to the end of the story in a couple of days or however many it takes me to read it. I assure you it won't take me an entire week. It seems like I will be lucky if I get 12-14 chapters a week to read of this version. It's not worth the headache to wait for the author to finish this story. I don't understand why they let authors download their stories before they are actually finished. I actually wouldn't start this one until it's completed. I did that once and vowed never to start another one that isn't finished. I'll either have to keep waiting or go read one of the other hundreds of thousands of books there are out there that are finished. These authors are only hurting themselves, imo.
