Besides, according to the novel, it was Gilbert who himself poured acid on Dwilight after stabbing and beating him senseless, so what is the point in saying Halsey sent someone to hurt him? This novel is one of the very captivating ones I have read but the author should stop contradicting himself

Even criminals are treated when they need it, that is not to say that they won't pay for their sins. Don't forget we were told at the beginning that Samuel already accepted a hefty sum as payment for the surgery.

I can't see the sense in taking a child with you to a reality show where fake smiles, schemings and cunnings are the order of the day. The child can even be used to hold her to ransom
Someone with enemies that can fill a whole town leaves her daughter to the care of an old man! Unbelievable. A child like that needs several bodyguards round the clock. What a clueless mother. Too soft for my liking.
