When will this Kallie ever learn? She's been around manipulative people long enough to understand all these games. First she allowed her daughter to wander off among snakes without proper chaperone. Knowing the Joanna lady is insecure she allowed hersel to be pressured into dinner. Is it that she is hungry or she cannot afford the food. I stop having sympathy for her.

I honestly do not care what issue Jake is dealing with within his family, but what is clearly unfair is using a defenceless woman to fight his own battle. He should not have opted to marry her when given the choice. But he married her and left her defenceless among the hyenas within his family members especially his mother. They provoked the abortion of her 1st pregnancy against her will, almost aborted her second pregnancy, treats her like a slave under his watch, yet he did nothing. Now using her as leverage to fight his own battle. I am really disgusted.

This Cedric of a guy was introduced at the begining of this novel with pomp and peagentry, highly intelligent, a badass no less, cold and calculating with a high dose of self importance etc. How come the writer now turned him into a puppy on a leash? It's nuseating

I honestly don't have any sympathy for Kallie. You already knew Sarah was unhinged and very devious, yet you agreed to meet her alone for something totally irrellevant. Maybe her brain will reset after this incident.

I simply don't understand why these writers always presnt their heroines as stupid and clueless. Kallie did a favour "seeminly" in an event to help out on restoration why should it be her responsibility to physically go and return the fixed item to the owner?

Does inability to speak equates damaged brain? Because that is what I can see with this Kellie of a girl. She should experience more bullying from Sarah, maybe that can reset her brain. What an idiot

No one person as long as they are human, can be as inteligent, powerful, audacious etc like this writer is making Daniela to look . Almost like a god. Conversely, no one is as weak and dump like he/she made Alexandra to look. Also, Cedric cannot be as love sick and annoying as he is made out to be. We know this is fiction, but it should come close to being as realistic as possible. I think it's time to just trash the book and look for another book to enjoy.

Let Cedric go and build up his own empire too rather than following Daniella around like a lost puppy. 

This Cedric’s supposed spoiling of Daniella is really sickening. He was introduced as an intelligent highly regarded individual, why are they projecting him as an idiot?🤷🏾‍♀️

I can't help but feel Daniella seems to be too sure of herself. She is being over confident about Cedric forgetting he is completely way ahead of someone like Alexandra. I hope she won't regret all her actions and secrets
