I LOVE this book. It has everything I look for in a fantasy. Great characters you want to root for, or great villain character you hope die in a fire, fun magic, sweet creatures, and a plot that keeps you turning the page. It is a magical mystery which just reminds me so much of the feeling I had when reading Harry Potter as a kid. I just noticed the sequel is out, and I'm so getting it, because this book ends on a huge cliff hanger and I can't wait to see what happens next! This book is for fantasy series readers of all ages, but perfect for high schoolers and maybe even middle schoolers who love books like Harry Potter or Percy Jackson. Get this book! I have NO COMPLAINTS about it whatsoever.
