I read it because of the author's other story. "All Her Secrets" was unnecessarily LONG, but still good. This was, after translation, thankfully short, but ridiculous.
I enjoyed Catherine and Branden ; she wasn't the typical weak, indecisive, female and he didn't try to control or disrespect her. There was action and humor, no steam- just implied intimacy.
The biggest issues: the repetitiveness of basic character facts, lack of continuity, dropped plot lines or errors, and the sections of non-English, word-soup. With all of them, the story is much longer than it really needs to be. It's a little like a treasure hunt to stick with it; you'll have to sift through the unnecessary filler, errors, and dead ends; to understand the complete story.
It's a good story, hampered and muddled with the clichés often found in stories from Asian platforms/ apps. It's only worthwhile reading here, for free.
