I think this is my least liked book from the author. The male character is just all over the place. The frustrating part is that it had a perfect opening. The initial meet and interactions was bliss. Quickly it starts to fizzle out.
The story seemed pretty tame. We feel for Lara. And because of her sufferings, the falling in love phase were ringing alarm bells. Would have loved more character development.
A good read. Plenty of romance, angst, drama and whole lot of spice in the mix. Liked both the characters. Intrigued to read the next from the series.
The first book in the Weston series had me hooked to the siblings and I looked forward to reading more about them. This one took all the love away. Their interactions were suffocating. Not hung up on this book.
Just perfect! Absolutely perfect! Loved the book. I read it at one go. It's like wrapping yourself with a cozy blanket. I loved all the characters, especially Annie. And the humor..cherry on top.
Short and sweet. Nothing much to be hung upon though..Two lonely characters finding love and a home with each other. Liked the interaction between the male character and the kid.
I have nothing against a short read. But things were happening too quickly. Keep that aside, its well written. Loved the way the conclusion was written (without giving too much away). Intimate and just whats necessary.
I didnt expect to enjoy this book this much. The moment you root for all characters, it means the author has done a good job. Well narrated. And gosh all the steamy scenes!
A well written story! Though this book pales slightly in comparison to Book 2 (Tate's story)..It takes quite a while to build up. But saying that, the second half of the book doesn't disappoint. Oh and I loved Cole's confession (and the build up to that) more than Tate's..so maybe it balances the score out 😏
I was invested in the characters from the start. What a well written story. Goes to show how everyone needs someone to just believe in them and to stand by them.
